On June 26, the Korea Blockchain Industry Promotion Association (KBIPA) and the Blockchain Law Society co-hosted a joint seminar to explore emerging technologies and regulatory trends in the Web 3.0 era. Over 70 professionals from the blockchain, legal, and financial sectors participated in the event, which featured key discussions on technological applications and legal challenges in the digital asset space.
In the first session, Ki-Choon Lee, Executive Director at Han Identity Korea, introduced MusiKhan—a “Tune to Earn” model built on tokenized music copyrights using a Real World Asset Finance (RWAfi) structure. The project enables users to earn real-time rewards by listening to music and integrates with TON’s staking and reward system, demonstrating how Web 3.0 technology is transforming the music industry.
The second session featured Attorney Ohhoon Kwon of Cha & Kwon Law Offices, who analyzed the U.S. “Digital Asset Market Structure Discussion Draft” and its implications for the Korean market. The following panel discussion, joined by legal and industry experts, offered critical insights on the effectiveness and improvements needed for Korea’s proposed Digital Asset Basic Act.
