President-elect Yoon Suk-yeol pledged that he will consider domestic virtual asset publishing through IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) method. On Yoon’s IEO, investors suggested methods such as investors participating in cryptocurrency projects via exchanges, and professionals are raising their opinions for the success of this pledge.

Partner attorney Ohoon kwon advised, “as nothing changed after the measures of Financial services Commission, virtual asset industry laws considering conflict of interests must be legislated beforehand in order to allow exchanges to proceed IEOs.” Moreover, he also suggested establishing specialized institutions like specialized banks on virtual asset transactions that take the role of IPO host in the capital market.
