Ohoon Kwon, Managing Partner at Cha & Kwon Law Offices, has been honored with the “Blockchain Contribution Award (Individual Category)” at the 2025 Blockchain Promotion Week x Web 3.0 Conference organized by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
 

The award ceremony, held on November 4, 2025 (Tuesday) at COEX in Seoul, recognized individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the development and advancement of the blockchain industry and its ecosystem.
 

Attorney Kwon was selected for this award in recognition of his contributions to the sound growth of the blockchain sector through his work on legal and institutional development, corporate advisory services, and policy recommendations in the fields of blockchain and digital assets. Over the years, he has provided legal counsel and policy research for numerous blockchain projects, startups, financial institutions, and public agencies both in Korea and abroad. His efforts have contributed to enhancing transparency and trust within the blockchain industry, as well as to establishing a legal foundation for digital assets and improving user protection frameworks.
