Terra Co-founder’s Arrest Warrant Rejected by Court

On December 3rd, a South Korean court dismissed prosecutors’ arrest warrant requests for Daniel Shin, Terraform Labs’ co-founder, and seven other people involved in the case on the grounds that their behavior during the investigation makes it difficult to believe he poses a flight risk or would destroy evidence. Partner attorney Ohoon Kwon commented, “The prosecutors’ arguments linking the Capital Markets Act violations to the Terra/Luna look weak, and the court seems to have decided that they may not be right.”
