GOPAX makes their third President change of the year—CEO of CityLabs, Youngjoong Cho takes over
South Korean cryptocurrency exchange GoPax, operated by Streami, has appointed Youngjoong Cho, the CEO of CityLabs, as its new CEO. This marks the third change in leadership for GoPax this year, with the previous CEO, Dong-Hoon Lee, stepping down about two months ago. CityLabs, a KOSDAQ-listed company, holds an 8.55 percent stake in Streami, making it the second-largest shareholder of GoPax. The changes in leadership this year were prompted by various factors, including the review of GoPax's change of name to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). The new CEO, Cho, is expected to focus on this renaming process for GoPax's virtual asset business.
