U.S., South Korea discuss ways to cooperate against illegal cyber activity in North Korea
The U.S. and South Korea held their fifth meeting to tackle North Korean cyber threats. They plan to prevent cyber theft, disrupt North Korean IT networks, and expand cooperation with cryptocurrency service providers due to the growing complexity in North Korea's cryptocurrency money laundering schemes. They also discussed preventing North Korea from sending workers overseas in violation of UN Security Council resolutions.
