Ohoon Kwon, Managing Partner at Cha & Kwon Law Offices, will participate in the 2026 Blockchain Promotion Week, held from Wednesday, November 25 to Thursday, November 26 at Conference Room E, COEX, Seoul.

The Blockchain Promotion Week is a government-led blockchain event. The Ministry of Science and ICT hosts it, and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) and the Institute of Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP) organize it. This year’s theme is “In the Era of AI and Digital Assets, Blockchain Becomes the Infrastructure of Trust.” Speakers include representatives from ITU-T, the Bank of Korea, Kim & Chang, Shinhan Bank, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea and Chainalysis. Twelve institutions and academic societies support the event, among them the Bank of Korea and the Korea Blockchain Society.

At last year’s 2025 Blockchain Promotion Week x Web 3.0 Conference, Attorney Kwon gave a presentation titled “Regulation and Promotion: Designing a Legal Framework for the Blockchain Technology Industry.” This year, he will share his practical experience with the legal issues blockchain companies face.
