Partner Shinyoung Choi presented on the ESG strategy in the age at the World-OKTA Forum

Attorney Shinyoung Choi, Member of the Ethics Management Committee of the World-OKTA, made a remarkable presentation on ESG strategy in the AI era at the 28th Korea Business Expo in Vienna in 2024.

Held at the Vienna Center in Austria from October 29 to 31, the congress was well attended by Korean business leaders from 150 chapters in 71 countries worldwide. The World Korean Businessmen's Congress is the largest global businessmen's event organized by the World-OKTA. It has become a key platform for business networking among overseas Korean entrepreneurs and support for Korean SMEs to expand overseas. 

At the World-OKTA ESG Forum, attorney Shinyoung Choi delivered a presentation titled “ESG S(Social): A New Paradigm for Corporate Survival and Growth” and moderated the event. The forum, which was aimed at key decision makers, began with a keynote lecture by Governor Cheol-Woo Lee of Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, followed by opening remarks by President of World-OKTA, Jong-bum Park, Greetings from the President of The Association of Korean Residents in Europe, Koh Kwang Hee, and President of the Institute for International Commerce Research, Gyung-ryul An, gave a congratulatory speech. 

This year's event featured various side events, including the Business Expo Vienna and the Korea Young Art Fair, which achieved remarkable results with 213 MOUs worth KRW 241.5 billion signed through the Korea Business Expo. About 1,000 World-OKTA members from 89 cities in 49 countries attended the event, contributing to the strengthening of the global network of Korean American businessmen. 

Attorney Shinyoung Choi analyzed the current status and challenges of ESG management due to the development of AI technology and presented strategic directions for sustainable growth of companies, which received great responses from the attendees. 

The Korea Business Expo is the largest event for overseas International business community events held annually by World-OKTA (World Korean Trade Association), which was established in 1981. It serves as a comprehensive business platform for promoting exchanges among Korean businessmen around the world, as well as supporting SMEs from their home countries to expand overseas and foster young entrepreneurs. In particular, it provides a venue for practical economic cooperation through various forums and business matching that reflect global business trends.
