Inex introduces 40 DApps... ‘worried about overseas VASP bypass’

Inex announced plans to integrate 40 different types of DApps into its services, but concerns have emerged within the legal community. Attorney Ohoon Kwon remarked, "Integrating a DApp that qualifies as a VASP under Korean regulations could lead to legal issues." He also cautioned that a DApp might be classified as a VASP if it exhibits a centralized structure. If an overseas-developed DApp is deemed a VASP, it must be registered with and approved by the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) in Korea. Inex clarified that it has completed a legal review and stated its intention to identify high-potential protocols through a dedicated review committee.
