Crypto Leverage Market Sees 68,004 Traders Liquidated in a Day—$187.8M Wiped Out, 58% Shorts
Over the past 24 hours, $130.3 million (KRW 187.8 billion) in leveraged crypto positions were liquidated, affecting 68,004 traders. Short positions accounted for 58% ($75.53 million), while long positions made up $54.77 million. Ethereum (ETH) saw the highest liquidations at $23.66 million (18%), followed by Bitcoin (BTC) at $20.27 million (16%). The largest single liquidation was a $2 million BTCUSDT position on ETHUSDT, while Binance led all exchanges with $49.33 million in liquidations (57.56% shorts).
