KDA Welcomes the First Bill of the Digital Asset Act and Calls for Passage Within This Year

The Korea Digital Asset Service Provider Association (KDA) welcomed the proposal for the Digital Asset Act. Partner attorney Ohoon Kwon, who is also serving as the chairperson of the KDA Bill Review Subcommittee, highlighted “the fact that the legal conditions for prohibition, such as unfair practices, are not clear, and there are no minimum regulations on the issuance of real-name bank account and the issuance and distribution of digital assets” shall be dealt with in-depth in the deliberation of the bill.
