Educational Activity Protection Policy Pilot Study Team Activities

Ungchae Jung of Cha & Kwon Law Offices is a Korean Bar Association-certified administrative law attorney who began his career as a researcher on the research team for the Pilot Teaching Activity Protection Policy piloted by the Seongdong-Gwangjin District Office of Educational Support.
As social issues related to the protection of teachers' rights and the need for a teaching rights protection policy have recently emerged, Mr. Jung has been utilizing his expertise in policy development by conducting research for the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education on the Teaching Rights Protection Policy. In addition, as part of an effort to expand the policy to the entire Seoul Metropolitan Government, Mr. Jung began working as a researcher on the research team of the Teaching Rights Protection Policy Pilot Project to study the introduction and structure of local teaching rights protection committees. Through this activity, the expertise gained from his experience with the existing Teacher Complaint Review Committee, advising school corporations, and serving as a member of the Teacher Rights Protection Committee, as well as his role in advising the Ministry of Education and conducting litigation, led him to conduct a normative comparison study of the Teacher Complaint Review Committee and gender-related misconduct handling procedures.
Based on our in-depth understanding of school rights policies and our history of participating in policy development, Cha & Kwon Law Offices provides high-quality services at the litigation and hearing stages with our network and expertise in the education industry.
