Bank of Korea to discuss crypto regulation with MOEF, FSC, IMF

 

The Bank of Korea is hosting the 2023 MOEF-BOK-FSC-IMF International Conference on 'Digital Money: Navigating a Changing Financial Landscape' next week. Officials and experts will discuss digital currencies' impact, regulations, and central banks' role in seven panel sessions. Governor Lee will talk about Korea's CBDC research, and the sessions will be streamed on the BOK's YouTube channel.
